This magical wooded one and a half acre home, is on Bainbridge Island’s highly desirable Pleasant Beach. In renovating this home, we added several important improvements including stone columns and exposed steel beams. Even though we modified its appearance and updated many parts of the home, we were always careful to maintain the design character of the original home. Specifically, we added a new covered cabana, swimming pool, garage, master bedroom suite, exercise room and second floor office.
The original home was designed by Hal Molstad in 1965 in the Northwest Contemporary style that was made popular at that time. The views are panoramic from Mt. Rainier to the Olympic Mountains in the west and with its southern orientation, it receives direct sunlight throughout the day.
