This Mediterranean home is uniquely sited on Magnolia Bluff in Seattle, high above Elliot Bay. Large expanses of south facing glass doors and windows open to magnificent views of the Cascades, Mt. Rainier and the Olympics. Our clients were drawn to the architecture and ease of living in the hill towns of Italy and southern France. With a careful eye toward these precedents, we gave rigorous attention to proportion and authentic detailing, while adapting the home to our modern lifestyle. The home exudes its Mediterranean pedigree thru many important details including its stone entrance, archways and columns as well as traditional terra-cotta roof tiles, and wrought iron details.
