About This Project
Located in the Washington Park neighborhood this residence is evocative of the multi-generational villas found in France and England. The limestone exterior and slate roof were selected for their durability and timeless quality. Decorative stone elements such as carved Juliet balconies, corbels, arches, door surrounds, and chimney caps are thoughtfully detailed and carefully proportioned. Stone is an ideal material because of its sustainability and low-maintenance.
This home won the 2006 Masonry Institute of Washington Honor Award for Excellence in Masonry Design.
