David has a well-balanced understanding of the technical, environmental, and cultural aspects of residential architecture. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with over 15 years of experience as a licensed architect. In addition to western Washington, David has worked on custom homes in Connecticut, New York, Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs, Colorado, Montana, and the Oregon Coast.
David received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. While in school, he focused on exploring a diverse range of collaborative working ideologies in addition to conventional studio design. His favorites were a design/build project for the Washington Park Arboretum, a cross-disciplinary field studio in rural Taiwan, and a community-funded design/build project for a local homeless encampment. These experiences have engrained in him a sense of teamwork and collaboration, which he strives to apply to all of his professional relationships.
